  1. Pretreat the affected areas with Kleenrite Spot Doctor™ or General Spotter, then rinse with water. This will remove any residue, such as cream or sugar. Make a dry vacuum pass or blot the area with a dry, white cloth.
  2. Prepare CafeAway solution by mixing equal parts of CafeAway Part 1 with CafeAway Part 2 (1:1). Make only enough solution to treat the stain; once mixed, the solution will diminish over time (remains active for approximately 2 hours after mixing).
  3. Always test for color stability before use.
  4. Apply the CafeAway solution onto the affected areas with a sprayer. For carpet, saturate the area without over-wetting. On high pile carpet, gently agitate with a soft bristle brush or bone scraper. For upholstery, apply until fabric is damp; do not saturate.
  5. Allow the treated areas to dry naturally. If necessary (such as on wool), rinse treated area.
  6. Repeat, if necessary.
